Small Groups

At Nativity, we feel that a small group is the best pastoral care delivery system. Groups are available in all life stages, and meet weekly. Check out our small groups page to learn more and find a group that’s right for you.

Prayer Request

A group of intercessors are dedicated to praying for the needs of our parish and our parishioners. We would welcome the opportunity to pray with you. If you would like to submit a prayer request, please send an email to [email protected] or click the link below.

Stephen Ministry

There are times when every one of us experiences difficulties – loss of a loved one, illness, spiritual crisis, separation, loneliness, job loss, discouragement and many others. God never intended for us to go through these experiences alone. Stephen Ministers are well trained caregivers who listen, pray, encourage and bring the love of Christ into a time of need.  Stephen Ministers receive over 50 hours of training in walking with others in difficult circumstances to provide one-to-one confidential Christian care.

Hospital Visits

A stay in the hospital can be a frightening and lonely ordeal. We would like to support and encourage you during that difficult time. Our Pastoral Visitors are ready to visit with you or your loved one, pray together and, if you choose, share Communion. Contact us for a visit.

If urgent, leave a message for the Pastoral Visitor Ministers at 410-252-6080 x133 and they will return your call promptly.

Anointing of the Sick

The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is offered anytime someone needs special support and strength when facing a health challenge. Contact us to request an anointing.

If urgent, leave a message for the Pastoral Visitor Ministers at 410-252-6080 x133 and they will return your call promptly.

Funerals

The death of a loved one is one of the most difficult experiences of life. The prayerful support and assistance of your Church family can be indispensable and our Bereavement Ministry is here to help. Bereavement Ministers can walk you through the planning of a traditional Funeral Mass, a simpler style prayer service, a graveside committal, or another appropriate remembrance of your choice.

Leave a message for the Bereavement Ministers at 410-252-6080 x150. They will return your call promptly.

Pastoral Visitors

Our Pastoral Visitors are available to visit homebound parishioners, as well as those who have transitioned to assisted living or hospice care in the North Baltimore area. Pastoral Visitors bring comfort and encouragement, Christian fellowship and prayerful support. If you choose, they can also share Communion.

If urgent, leave a message for the Pastoral Visitor Ministers at 410-252-6080 x133 and they will return your call promptly.

Grace’s Story

I had trouble finding a parish when I first moved to Baltimore out of college. I heard of it through the grapevine and ended up streaming mass with my family for Covid Christmas 2020. I was blown away by how uplifting it was, and it inspired me to try going in person. I have been going ever since! I really have enjoyed meeting other people my age, where I can have open and honest conversations about my faith. They challenge me and bring new ideas to the table. I love having people I can pray with who can support me spiritually. I was definitely looking for new social connections and to grow spirituality. I have felt so welcomed by my leaders and members and grateful to meet new friends through my group. They are people I connect with in a different way.
