Nativity Students

If anyone is going to change the world, it’s the next generation. Our student ministry is for students in 5th-12th grade. It’s designed to give them a place where they can connect with God, with other people, and have fun.

Students Have a Church Home Here

Our Student Ministry is built around small groups. Each group is grade-specific and offers a place to be known and loved through every experience, question, doubt, and prayer. Small groups run September to May. If you’re interested in connecting with a small group, register here.

  • Resurrection: Roots

In one power-packed hour per week, preteens will compete over meaningful games, enjoy a message for their growing faith, and start a conversation with friends. Resurrection Roots groups are mixed gender and reflect the engineer-like minds that want to know how things work in concrete terms. There are also opportunities for all our students to periodically pack the theater for a live message, worship with the Student Band, and a sense that we are part of something big together.

  • Resurrection: Rise

As middle schoolers rise, their small groups become more independent: They choose their time and meeting place, break into boys and girls groups, and continue to receive a message and discussion tailored to their age and stage. The games and discussions grow in maturity, the topics are slightly deeper, and there’s time for laughs, stories, group challenges, and prayer together.

  • Uprising

Once teens reach high school, they are dared to make faith their own through weekly commitment, more challenging messages, questions, and activities. Small groups meet at a time and place of their choosing. Often in Uprising our leaders don’t offer answers but questions because we want to teach high schoolers how to think rather than what to think since they increasingly face adult decisions.

Confirmation and Sacraments

Every student’s spiritual journey is important to us. The celebration of the sacraments are critical moments on that journey. We help each student who is ready to prepare for sacraments so they can embrace the grace God gives us to have full and meaningful lives.
