Confirmation Journey
Confirmation for students at Nativity is a journey. It’s your chance to say YES to God, YES to faith, YES to the church. We want to help you build relationships that help you know whether you want to make that choice at this critical point in your lives. Here are the steps you will take on your Confirmation journey:
Attend Uprising
Uprising is our program for all high schoolers. We hope you find a small group to support and grow your faith through Confirmation and for the rest of your time in high school. Your small group leader will be a main coach for the journey.
Our retreat is the best weekend of the year. We get away to River Valley Ranch for ziplining, horseback riding, paintballing, campfires, messages, friendship, food, and faith.

Ask your Sponsor & SPARK Night
In addition to your small group leader and parents, we ask you to choose a sponsor to be a part of your journey. This is another spiritual coach. Pick someone you admire for their faith and who can help you grow closer to Christ. SPARK nights are two events we host where all the teens and their sponsors gather via zoom to pray, talk, and grow together.
Do some research on Saints in the church. Look into their interests and causes and find some that interest you or pertain to you. Your saint name, will serve both as your inspiration for being a member of the church and your name when you receive the Sacrament.

Writer a letter to the Bishop.
It is customary across the globe for each Confirmation candidate to write a personal letter to their Bishop requesting the Sacrament of Confirmation. The letter is to introduce yourself and to explain your Confirmation preparation experience.
The time has come! The day to officially be a confirmed member of the Church. We’ll have two Mass times available, and you’ll choose one of them that you and your family can attend and other family can attend online.
