Global Trips

Global Trips

Relationships are at the heart of our Missions work, and as with any relationship, face-to-face time is essential. Each year we travel to visit our global partners to strengthen our relationships, serve with them, and work together in life-changing work for their community.

The application deadline for all 2019 trips is Sunday, March 10.

Monarch, Haiti

Objective: Missionaries have an opportunity to pour into the members of the Monarch community through our partnership with The 410 Bridge. Assist with educational projects like conducting English/Creole language exchanges, playing flash card games to teach basic vocabulary words, and encouraging and equipping teachers in their training. In addition, Haitians love soccer and our missionaries will conduct afternoon soccer camps to teach basics and fundamentals of the sport while sharing the love of Christ with every community member involved.

Dates: June 28 – July 5
Ages: 14 & 15 yrs. old w/ parent, & 16 and up

Kiu, Kenya

Objective: Through our partnership with The 410 Bridge, missionaries have an opportunity to pour into the women of the local community of Kiu. Learn, worship, serve, and grow as you walk alongside these women and build relationships through teaching, home visits, service, and evangelism projects. You will also spend a “Day in the Life” of a Kenyan family so that you can see the challenges and joys of everyday life in Kenya. This trip provides a truly dynamic opportunity to make a difference for Christ in the lives of those women whom you will impact in the community.

Dates: June 27 – July 6

Charlotte, North Carolina

Objective: Calling all students! Join us as we work with the City of Charlotte and an interdenominational agency, which cares primarily for the vulnerable population. Missionaries may help with food service, yard work for residents, indoor/outdoor painting and minor construction projects. Other projects may include assisting a local daycare center with its vacation bible school or playing games with the children. The week-long workcamp provides opportunities for students to engage in team-building skills, learn important foundations of their Catholic faith, and grow deeper in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Our goal is to build relationships with members of the Charlotte community through selfless service.
